AARP Tax Assistance

Appointments can be made starting February 1st with AARP trained tax assistants for help with preparation of tax returns. Sessions are held at Rockland Trust on the corner of Main Street & Route 28, Orleans, MA  Call:  508-255-4979 to speak with a volunteer who will schedule your appointment.


Fuel Assistance

Offered from fall to spring, volunteers trained by South Shore Community Action Council, Inc. assist Orleans MA residents (non-seniors as well as seniors) in completing their applications. Appointments are available for this service on Thursdays.

Half hour appointments on Wednesdays at varied times with Elder Law specialists for Orleans seniors.  Call the Orleans COA to schedule your appointment with one of these local, professional attorneys.

The services of a Notary Public are available at the Senior Center, by appointment, at no charge.


S.H.I.N.E. "Serving Health Insurance Needs of the Elderly"

Appointments available on Tuesday mornings with trained volunteers; Helen Elliot, Judy Hunt, Arthur McCormick and Ellen Petry.
